26 Night cruise departing from Cape Town to Dubai onboard Azamara Quest.

The adventure beings in Cape Town, followed by a late stay in one of the sunniest destinations in all of South Africa—Port Elizabeth. Take advantage of the extra time in port to visit Addo Elephant National Park before setting sail for the golden beaches of Durban and the stunning scenery of Richards Bay.

After two relaxing days at sea, it’s off to Taolagnaro, Madagascar where you can savor the catch of the day at an open-air restaurant or take a short drive to see the lemurs, baobab trees, and spiny forests this secluded port is known for. Explore the small island of Pointe des Galets and coral sand beaches of Port Louis before embarking on an indulgent five days at sea. You’ll be spoiled for time—spend it lounging on the pool deck or with an invigorating treatment at Sanctum Spa.

An overnight in Colombo, Sri Lanka and another in Cochin, India are next—choose your own adventure and you won’t be disappointed by what you discover. Then, Mumbai and the flashy, razzle-dazzle world of Bollywood. Recover and recharge with a final three days at sea before arriving in our last destination—Dubai, The City of Gold.

Highlights of this cruise:

Cape Town, South Africa
Journey to South Africa's Mother City and experience the vast beauty of a land shaped by two oceans. Stunning mountainscapes and miles of coast provide limitless outdoor adventure, while world-renowned restaurants, a booming LGBTQ community, and the outlying Cape Winelands make Cape Town a contemporary, cosmopolitan city with a global feel.

Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Experience the Rainbow Nation with our South Africa cruises to Port Elizabeth. With a warm climate, beautiful wide beaches, and spirited communities embracing cultures from all over the world, it’s little wonder Port Elizabeth is known as “The Friendly City.” Discover the Port’s storied history while walking the Donkin Heritage Trail, dig your toes in the sand at beautiful Hobie Beach, or escape to the animal sanctuary of Addo Elephant National Park—home to the densest population of elephants in the world.

Durban, South Africa
Known as “the Asian Capital of South Africa”, Durban is city on the Indian Ocean where Zulu, Indian, and European cultures thrive against the backdrop of golden sand beaches, majestic mountain ranges, and plunging valleys. Get a henna tattoo at the Victoria Street Market, visit a traditional Zulu homestead in the Valley of 1,000 Hills, and take a make a splash with a ride on Africa’s highest waterslide.

Richards Bay, South Africa
Experience South Africa’s rugged coastline, pristine beaches, and mist-covered hills. Richards Bay is perched on a lagoon where the Mhlatuze River meets the Indian Ocean, and is the gateway to Zululand, the vast inland region famous for its mountains, savannah ecosystems, and the Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park—home to the largest white rhino population on Earth.

Tolagnaro, (Fort Dauphin), Madagascar
Surrounded by crescent-shaped beaches on three sides, this secluded port in the southeast is your gateway to experience unique animal and plant species found only on Madagascar. Lemurs, baobab trees and spiny forests are all just a short drive away from town. Untouched by the trappings of touristy ports, Tolagnaro really is a piece of paradise found.

Pointe des Galets, Reunion, France
Forged in the fire of two impressive volcanoes, Réunion is located 500 miles off the coast of Madagascar. The quintessential island paradise, Réunion satisfies the curiosities of even the most well-traveled explorers with its towering peaks, lush rolling hills, and thrilling new adventures and possibilities at every turn.

Port Louis, Mauritius
A turquoise gem set in the Indian Ocean, there is so much more to discover in Mauritius beyond beautiful beaches. In Port Louis, the imprint of colonial power can still be seen, but it’s blended with a diverse array of cultures to create an atmosphere, that’s unique, warm, welcoming, and just the right amount of fast-paced for your cruise vacation. Explore electric markets, tranquil botanical gardens, a breathtaking chain of seven waterfalls.

Colombo, Sri Lanka
This teardrop-shaped island gem offers engaging encounters both in the capital city and the surrounding countryside. Wind your way through the streets of Colombo's old quarter to find some world-famous tea and explore eclectic cafés and shops. Trek out into the jungle and meet the friendly residents of a elephant orphanage.

Kochi, India
The mixture of cultures and influences in Cochin—from giant Chinese fishing nets at Fort Kochi and a 400-year-old synagogue to ancient mosques and Portuguese-style homes—is a reminder of the city’s history as the former center of the Indian spice trade. But don’t mistake this combination of old and new, east and west as being inharmonious; Cochin is actually a renowned center for Ayurvedic medicine.

Mumbai, India
Amid all the hustle and bustle, Mumbai is buzzing with adventures to discover. To get a sense of the region’s history, visit the Dr Bhau Daji Lad Mumbai City Museum, where you’ll find over 3,500 objects telling Mumbai's story. To escape to hustle and bustle, travel to Elephanta Island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to tour the maze of cave temples and impressive temple carvings.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Dubai is a city unlike any other in the world. What was once an endless desert is now home to many triumphs of modern technology, including the world’s first underwater hotel, the world’s tallest building, and the iconic Burj Al Arab. Spend your days exploring merchant stalls in the Dubai Gold Souk, and for an experience you’ll have to see to believe, go skiing in the desert at Ski Dubai.
